This is Samsung's budget smartphone at 220 pounds granted. It is it may be the top of the threshold for budget smartphones. But for me, it's just within that bracket powered by the Zionist 7.85 octa-core processor. It is running Android 9 with four gigs of RAM and 64 gigabytes of storage with a Mali g71 GPU.

One standout features are the 5.9-inch Infinity you display. It is a Super AMOLED display, and I like it the colors are high it's very sharp and budget phone with a screen like that. I've got large hands, and this device is relatively small. It is a little bit awkward and a bit cumbersome at times. When I'm using the method, I think performance wise it performs well with general navigation through the phone and opening apps. I would see a budget device build quality is excellent. It has a plastic back; some people might not like the plastic backs; it does feel cheap at times. I believe the plastic back is hard wearing. There's no marks or scratches on there at all, and there's a slight sort of a little rainbow effect in there.

You can see the color in there there's a slight, slight shimmer so in individual lights. You get a careful reflection of different colored lights a rainbow shimmer does have a metal frame. It does feel solid and accompanied by that screen as well. It just filled a premium device.

So for 220 pounds, you are getting a perfect camera as well with a 16-megapixel sensor accompanied by a 5-megapixel ultra full camera. So here we have a reasonable shot with the standard 16-megapixel sensor and the ultra wide.

It captures a lot more area. I like the live focus on here. This works well, and I've captured some great shots sharp fantastic bokeh effect both on the rear and the front-facing camera. You do get some excellent shots in video mode. You can shoot both a wide-angle lens or usual here are some video clips.

This is using the noir lands in the a40 are beautiful. It's got a pretty decent camera there's out late spider now we have a much wider angle of view do you like that. Really like that good. that's great I was looking at the Sun slightly counter visible the video on the guys

The Samsung a40 is brilliant yeah this is grateful Stefan is a high-end budget. But it is for me as a budget device the higher end of the price from facing cameras 25 megapixels. Which is quite impressive again like the live focus pictures quality is excellent lower light than the pictures.

Do become a little bit smoother and less sharp the camera does I've seen optimizer as well. We can which you can turn on and off, and it does automatically detect. If you're maybe taking pictures of food or text as well. There's quite a full-featured camera, which is very good for 220-pound. I'm going to come on to probably the most disappointing part of the phone. That is the battery life and the website being charged with real staying power. That's not the case went well since I've been using it.
